This acquisition, which was the largest property deal in Germany in 2023 – significantly scaled our exposure to high quality grocery real estate in Germany – a market we have been investing in since 2016. The properties we acquired as part of this transaction are underpinned by some of Germany’s largest grocery and everyday goods distributors. Through this transaction, Slate is becoming one of the leading owners and operators of essential real estate in Germany.
