Slate Canadian Real Estate Opportunity Fund I Announces Portfolio Acquisition

The Fund is a closed-end private equity vehicle managed by Slate Asset Management L.P. with a strategy to acquire commercial real estate through complex portfolio acquisitions, cyclical investing and/or asset repositioning opportunities.

The Portfolio includes 97 assets totaling 6.2 million square feet comprised of office, retail and industrial properties located in the Greater Toronto Area, Atlantic Canada and Western Canada.

Closing is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2018 and remains subject to customary closing conditions.
