Joyce joined Slate in 2021. She is responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for Slate Asset Management.

She holds a BA in Economics and Accounting, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University. She is actively pursuing her CPA Designation.
