Michael is Managing Director, Global Head of Compliance and Governance at Slate Asset Management. He is responsible for leading the firm’s regulatory compliance program and overseeing the firm’s governance framework globally.

Michael has 20 years legal and compliance experience in the asset management industry at leading institutional advisers and retail fund complexes designing, building and managing compliance functions. Prior to Slate, Michael managed various compliance functions for GCM Grosvenor where he also served as Registered Funds Chief Compliance Officer.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vassar College and a law degree (JD) from Northeastern University School of Law.
